Oddfellows Of Whinter
Book 1
We were once known commonly as numenous, those filled with the presence of the divinity. But listless, unadulterated worship does not last. Once long ago we walked amongst the people like Gods. We solved problems and disputes. We created art and language. Math and medicine. And then it was gone. All of it. We warred with each other and destroyed the beauty we created. The aftermath, a reign of fear left us hunted and despised. Our contributions erased, we were denuded of those who believed in us. Made small and petty by our own actions. Chased to the wild and savage places in the world until finally we learned our lesson. We still bear the scars of all that we lost.

1313 Reaper Way is really where this story begins. Deep inside a warehouse, in the old city, Riverwest neighborhood. Housed in a bubble of ancient power and five floors below ground, protected by an ancient Jinn, sits a vast repository of numenous relicts, artifacts and books. Powerful. Filled with ancient knowledge. And in the wrong hands, supremely dangerous. And thus hidden.
The stewardship of those treasures has been passed down from oldest child to oldest child since the Anunnaki first lay claim to the Nile Valley.
During a long forgotten battle, and after a heroic intervention, Darius of Briga Uladh was rewarded with the title Mudutu- Guardian of the House of knowledge by the ruler of the Anunnaki, Yuther, the enslaver.
The Anunnaki were advanced far beyond the people of Sumer. They held secret knowledge and inexplicable powers that distinguished them from all others.
Darius shared what he learned with those he trusted most. Those chosen few gave birth to the numenous, a name that means those touched with the magic of the divinity. My people.
I am just the latest primogeniture to be given the reins and responsibility of this great rock of magic and history. Me. Honorius Xenia Woden Rankin O’Neil. Archivist and guardian of its secrets.

Lord Ormande's Daughter
Gillian Ellingsworth was born into a life of title and privilege, but it hasn’t saved her from the savagery of the Conformity Church nor its cruel mistress, Deacon Devon. After an attack on the House of Lords forces Gillian to step into her Father's shoes, she uncovers the truth about the Church, and the lies they have told to maintain their control over the people of Erinland. With the help of the mysterious Danan Farlington, and her Father's powerful allies, she does everything within her power to bring the Church to its knees. But will it be enough? In the search for truth in a world of lies- can technology save them before it is too late?
The story begins with a grand party. Her Father had done the impossible, he had breached the island’s perimeter and secured a deal across the Straits of Europe under the very nose of the Conformist Church- or so he’d bragged. Given the Lord Ormande’s objective, the night was proving to be quite a success, that is until his man from Belmont arrived with a missive. There had been an accident. Her Father's ally, and son of his oldest friend, lay unconscious in her Grandparents cottage.
Leaving was not an option for Lord Ormande, no matter how severe the situation, not given the sensitive nature of his business, and not without raising the suspicion of his guests. So Gillian was pressed to cross the immense property and see to his godson’s injuries.
It was in that cottage she found the stranger, Danan Farlington, disfigured and strewn across the couch in her Grandparent’s former library. It swiftly became apparent just how precarious a situation this was, not just for the future Lord Halsting, whose life appeared to be on the line, but for everyone who knew he was here, including Gillian. For his injuries were of the unnatural kind, the kind that only occurred from one thing- technology.
And everyone knew that was forbidden.
“A story of complicated lives and relationships. Complex, fast-paced and inspiring. Lord Ormande's Daughter is the Ultimate Escapism.” ~ Writology Book Review
